Rain Storm Floods Basement

These photos show an unfinished basement that took on water after rain poured down for a whole day. The source was not discovered until the rain had stopped. One of the well windows was not draining and water came in through unsealed cracks around the window.  Once the issue was fixed SERVPRO of Western Lehigh County was able to come in and begin extracting water.  Seeing that the floor was concrete it made for a quick extraction.  This also made the drying process quick and simple.  After one day of running equipment the basement was completely dry.  We finished the job off by spraying safe chemicals to prevent any mold from growing.  This happens to people everyday, just know SERVPRO of Western Lehigh County is ready to help you when disaster strikes.
